General information on MiFID

Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 April 2004 on markets in financial instruments (the “MiFID” Directive) defined a European framework for services in financial instruments in particular with the aim of strengthening investor protection. It was transposed into Luxembourg law by the Law of 13 July 2007 on markets in financial instruments (the “Law”).
