Who I am
I was raised in Amsterdam and chose to remain there for my studies in business economics, banking and insurance. After one year of working for an insurance company, I began looking for a more dynamic and challenging environment and found it in the private banking sector.
In addition to my job, I am a football trainer responsible for two teams in the 7-9 year age group. I am also a guest teacher 3-4 times a year at a high school to assist students in the process of choosing a profession, to motivate them and to help them prepare for job interviews.
I am married and have three children.
What I do
In 1999, I started working in the banking sector and joined InsingerGilissen in 2007. I started at the trading desk and am now a private banker. I am responsible for managing and advising our clients. Estate planning and personal contact are both important to our clients. Our challenge is to make our customers more financially secure by providing even better service.
What I think
Working in the private banking sector is similar to training as a world-class athlete. We have a goal we want to achieve. Our clients expect a top performance every day and our employers, in turn, expect us to always perform at the highest possible level. To deliver a top performance, we must constantly improve by remaining focused and coaching each other. Each employee is an important player on the team.
What makes InsingerGilissen special is that it is a relatively small company that still conveys a sense of family. It is a pleasure to work in such a dynamic environment.
