Who I am
I was born in Osmaniye, Turkey, and moved to France with my parents at age three. With secretarial and accounting qualifications, I served in various administrative positions in France and then in Luxembourg. My husband is a chef so I also manage a restaurant with him. These experiences have put me in a variety of social situations and helped me become extremely flexible.
We moved from France to Luxembourg in 2002. I am sociable by nature and enjoy being with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I adapted to this multicultural country very quickly.
I have been with KBL epb since March 2007.
What I do
I work in Reconciliation & Control. My job is to identify cash and stock spending; analyze, interpret and document it; and then send it to the concerned departments so that it can be settled. I also produce various reports for our business lines.
I take an active part in the development and ongoing improvement of our control processes. This is a very interesting research job that teaches me something new every day and gives me an overview of all financial transactions.
What I think
I think that mindsets evolve and the world changes; cultures mix. We must continue adapting to changes in the world.
For me, both professionally and personally, communication and adapting to change are the keys to success. I’m naturally positive and think that when you want something and have the means, anything is possible.
