Senior Private Banker
Who I am
I studied Business Engineering at the University of Liège, Belgium, and received a DESS in business administration from the universities of Hasselt and Glasgow.
I began my career in 1999 at Banque Générale du Luxembourg as a private banker for Belgian and Luxembourgish clients. Here I soon discovered that a big problem for many clients was: tax. In 2001 this led to me doing a Masters in tax law at HEC Liège, while still working at BGL.
I’m married with two children. In the little free time that I have I like to go running. This is a great way for me to relieve stress and challenge myself.
What I do
I joined Puilaetco Dewaay Luxembourg in 2011 as a Senior Private Banker.
The heart of my job is wealth planning and structuring. I aim to offer my clients a global approach to their wealth, which is not limited to financial assets alone. It is vital to be able to count on the support of KBL epb, in my day- to-day work.
What I think
The main challenge for me and my colleagues is to continually adapt to the ever-changing economic and legal environment. (MiFID, European directives, FATCA, etc.) and at the same time respect the approach of my clients.
To respond to client needs and expectations, you have to have a close relationship and be able to react. Flexibility is the key word in my work.
